Tin oxide (SnO2) is a highly effective whitener and opacifier used in low and high temperature glazes. Enhances color development of copper reds, iron reds, and chrome pinks.  High tin (over about 5%) + small amounts Chromium gives pink,  + Iron gives orange to red.
