Acts as a flux and reduces surface tension. Negative thermal expansion.
A weak yellow colourant used to produce yellow, greenish yellow and reddish brown. Stronger source of yellow colour when made into a stain with Tin or Zirconia. Excess (more than can be dissolved in glaze) can cause irregular surfaces. Slightly soluble.
